Before we get into all these small business advertising ideas, we would like to say that the best advertising that you could ever have for your small business is word of mouth, but for those of you just starting out this could be more helpful. If you want to skyrocket your business in a very short amount of time, doing a little advertising will drive eyeballs to your website and footsteps into your door.

Question by matt c: What small business loans are available for national guardsman?
Looking to start a towing business and I am in search of start up funds. My brother in-law is in the national guard and would be willing to get the Business loan for me due to my credit being fairly low. Are their any special Small business loans available for people in the military, or would we be better going through a traditional bank? Any help is appreciated.

Every business loan is a risk for both the lender and the borrower. A promising business gives you the best chances of having your business loan request granted.
Lenders will usually look at your gross annual sales and revenues, credit score, checking account balances, profitability, and length of time you’ve been in business. For newbies in the business world, expect to be asked intensively about your business plans.

To be more descriptive, the signs I have noticed are made of that corrugated plastic. If they are allowed, are there any limitations, such as only posting on poles that are on your property (even if the municipality does own them)
Im just asking because I own my own business and am looking into alternative advertising ideas

When I signed up last night it was midnight, so I assumed it was because of the time and there was a processing time. But it still says the same thing this morning. I went back like I was signing up again and all my info is still there that I entered last night, so it did take. Any ideas?
Im sorry I forgot to add that it was a yahoo small business plan that I ordered.

I am planning to start my own small retail store in or near Glendale CA. I am thinking about opening a type of dressup/makeover store for kids where they can come and play dressup, have makeovers and even purchase costumes. The type of place that will also have birthday parties etc…Mostly geared towards girls 10 and under. My dad is planning on helping me to start this business and he thinks that that it will cost about $50-60k to get started. I want to start a business plan….I know what I want to do…I just don’t know yet how to do it or how much it will cost to start and would like opinions from others who know a bit about small retail stores and starting them. Thanx in advance!!
